The DT982 is an ATEX IIC UHF digital two way radio. It is built to the highest environmental protection rating of IP68, offering a full Ingress Protection against dust while being fully submersible in 2m of water for up to 4 hours.
The radio operates seamlessly in temperatures as low as -30°C through to 50°C. This is possible due to the radio meeting MIL-STD-810 C/D/E/F/G standards. With this rating, it assures that it also has the ability to withstand shock, vibration and corrosive effect due to dust and moisture.
